We started Affinity Senior Care with a simple mission: to take care of our clients. 

We believe that there is no greater calling than caring for others, and we’ve built our business on that belief.

Our founder, my father, Dr. Jerry Zayid, was inspired by his lifelong passion for healthcare (he is a practicing podiatrist in Southeast Michigan) and his desire to take care of others. That’s why he founded Affinity Home Health Care in 2006—to serve seniors like himself who needed help taking care of their homes and loved ones. 

We also know that the healthcare industry is constantly evolving—and we’re here to adapt with it. So, to better meet our client’s needs, we created Affinity Senior Care branch in 2012 with a goal of further serving members of the community over age 55.  Since then, we’ve been providing clients with exceptional care in all capacities: from home health aides to live-in caregivers, from nurse practitioners to commute partners. We are committed to helping our clients stay healthy and happy in their own homes as long as possible. 

At Affinity, we pride ourselves on offering compassionate, quality care in any capacity you or your loved one may need. We work together with local doctors’ offices and hospitals in Michigan to provide optimal care for seniors in the community. All our employees are held to a high standard in their training and their love for their work—ensuring each client is treated with the utmost care and respect.

We’re proud to be a part of this community and this industry. That’s why we’re committed to constantly learning and adapting to any changes in the market. So much so, when COVID-19 hit, we were able to continue serving our clients—and protecting them—with the highest of standards for quality care.

Chris and his team came to my rescue at the last minute on Friday, June 18th. My mother was just diagnosed with Colon Cancer last week and has been in the hospital. My 86 year old father has mild dementia and cannot be left alone for long periods of time. My aunt and I have been tag teaming taking care of him. However, on Saturday, the 19th we both had all day plans. Dad was very impressed with the caregivers. He said, “They were funny and had the answers for everything!”. I’m so relieved and thankful for the Affinity Senior Care Team. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

Affinity Senior Care has provided us with several excellent caregivers to assist with caring for my 85-yo mother with mild dementia. I have returned to care for my mom, but need time for my job, which can be performed remotely. The experienced staff has provided expert recommendations and compassionate skilled care. The arrangement has been flexible to adjust schedules to our needs. Each day a caregiver arrives, my mother welcomes them with enthusiasm, knowing she has someone who is an advocate for her. I am comfortable traveling for work, when I know I can rely upon our Affinity professionals to care for my loved ones until I return. Thanks.

Had a great experience with Affinity Home Care. Our caregiver has been with us for two years now and my mother adores her. The people at the office are very courteous and helpful.
